- Richard’s work can now be seen at the excellent Milltown Gallery in Waterfoot. It has not been finalised but a joint exhibition at the venue with local Rossendale artist Robin Sharples will take place in September 2011.
Richard will be available for a chat and will exhibit some works along with other artists at Loveclough Top Club on 14-15th May 2011.

- An exhibition at Whalley library has been organised for November 2011.
- Richard has recently made a short documentary film about his life and art with up and coming film maker Cara. L. Goodchild.
- Richard is planning an exhibition of his work in 2011 both in the Ribble-Valley and Rossendale areas.
- There are plans to hold a Freda Makin retrospective exhibition in the near future.
- Richard continues to work mainly in the Ribble Valley and Rossendale areas.
